2017 Junior Golf Programs
With so many folks staying close to home this summer, we are excited to invite you to have your children join the activities we have planned for the junior golfers. For ages 6 to 17, we have something for all skill levels.
FREE APRIL JUNIOR CLINICS
We will again offer our FREE junior golf clinics during the month of April. These clinics focus on the fundamentals and are meant to both introduce the game to new junior golfers and to refresh the swings of juniors who have already started the game. The juniors are grouped by age and the lessons will include the full swing and the short game. Clinics will be held from 6-7pm on Tuesday's 4/11 and 4/25 and on Thursday's 4/113 and 4/27. The TOTAL JUNIOR GOLF EXPERIENCE
The TJGE for 2017 is now SOLD OUT. You may send us an email and we'll put you on a waiting list.
The 2017 Total Junior Golf Experience (TJGE) is a six week program meeting on Tuesday's from 6 to 7pm at the Valleybrook Country Club in Blackwood. The lessons begin on Tuesday, July 18th and run through August 22nd.
SUMMER JUNIOR SERIES
The Dick Smith Golf Academy is now offering Junior Golf Instruction Clinics for boys and girls ages 6 - 16 years old on weekday mornings through the summer. The program will consist of a series clinics for 1 hour for ages 6-10 and for 2 hours for ages 11-16.
The clinics will focus on basics pertaining to; grip, stance/alignment, posture, ball position and the swing. Fundamentals will be stressed and the object of the clinics is to build a solid foundation to support a sound and correct golf swing.
The Players Club All Day Camp
The Players Club camp is designed for the experienced junior golfer who is beyond the "basic fundamentals and wants to work toward the next skill level in the learning process. This IS NOT a camp for new or beginner junior golfers. The eight hour/all day camp will focus on the finer points of all facets of the game.....long shots, short shots, bad/uneven lies, putting, chipping, sand bunkers, how to draw or fade the ball, the mental approach to the game, etc. Check out the specifics on "the Players Club Camp" page.
